Russia has reported 5,848 new cases of the novel coronavirus in the last day, according to Al Jazeera, taking its national tally to 795,038, the fourth highest number in the world.
However, Russia has an official death toll of just 12,700 deaths to date, claiming that more than 570,000 people have made a full recovery.
