MK Haskel appointed chair of foreign affairs and defense subcommittee

The Deputy Speaker of the Knesset, MK Sharren Haskel, was today appointed Chairman of the Subcommittee on Foreign Relations and Information at the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee.

The Foreign Affairs Subcommittee is entrusted with the parliamentary oversight of the Foreign Ministry and holds ongoing discussions on Israel's foreign policy, hosts foreign affairs committees from various countries, goes on representative parliamentary delegations and discusses burning issues on the international agenda.
