The order banning seating in restaurants went into effect this morning at 5 p.m. Hence the restaurants were closed except for deliveries and takeaways.
However, at 09:45 this morning the Corona Commission is expected to convene again and decide whether and how the restaurants will be able to operate. The committee's chairman, MK Yifat Shasha Bitton, intends to retroactively cancel the closure and leave the restaurants open.
