The Knesset's Corona Committee is expected to reconvene today (Monday) and decide whether to accept the restrictions imposed by the government on the night between Thursday and Friday, including the closure of beaches and pools on weekends, the closure of restaurants from tomorrow and the closure of gyms.
At the end of a four-hour discussion, members of the committee, led by MK Yifat Shasha-Biton, refrained from approving or revoking these government decisions, and asked the government to make changes to the restriction orders: Leaving public pools open, giving the possibility to stay at beaches without restriction, leaving restaurants partially open inside and maintaining 'purple charter' rules outside, allowing for gyms to be open (but decreasing the number of people in the gym at a given time), in addition to the tourist attractions in Eilat and the Safari in Ramat Gan.
