The Health Ministry has denied reports that it is blocking Prime Minister Netanyahu's choice of coronavirus coordinator.
"Contrary to media reports, the Health Minister is not leading any battle over the identity of the coordinator," Minister Yuli Edelstein's office stated. "We understand the desire to spice up the news with juicy gossip, so it's just a shame that this time, what's being reported isn't true. Minister Edelstein is currently assessing which of the applicants for the post is most suited to the position."
