The Hague War Tribunal said it would not be pressing charges against Israel on allegations it had committed war crimes against Arabs in Judea and Samaria until after the summer break.
Israel's foreign ministry, for its part, said the UN body may begin proceedings afresh once sovereignty is applied in Judea and Samaria.
There are also fears that the upcoming presidential election in the US may play a significant role in the matter. If Trump is re-elected, the US is likely to ban proceedings.
