Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Saturday said that 25 million Iranians have contracted coronavirus, and an additional 35 million are at risk of contracting the disease.
In a televised speech, Rouhani said his figures were based on a new Health Ministry report, and that approximately 14,000 Iranians have died of COVID-19.
