Since the outbreak of the corona epidemic in Israel, Magen David Adom (Red Star of David) has tested 600,000 inidividuals for the coronavirus. Last week, it tested 74,919.
The founding of Magen David Adom in Switzerland in 1915 and it's establishment in Israel in 1930 as a rescue organization was inspired by activities of the American Red Cross.
