MK Dr. Shlomo Karhi (Likud) has rejected criticism directed at Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu following on the latter's announcement yesterday that he plans to give a second "one-time" grant to every adult Israeli citizen.
"All these complaints... for some people, whatever you do is wrong," Karhi said. "But these grants really do help people." Karhi added that, "What's perhaps more important is to ensure that the grants to the self-employed and the unemployed are approved when they come before the Knesset next Monday. We still have a lot to fix there."
Karhi concluded by noting what the Prime Minister, along with Finance Minister Katz have been saying: "It's better to regret giving too much than too little."
