According to a report in the New York Times, the US administration is planning to revoke visas for Chinese Communist party members, a move which could potentially impact close to 100 million people.
The report cites four people supposedly well informed on the matter, and suggests that the move, if approved, would be similar to the travel ban imposed on Muslim-majority countries three years ago which barred people considered to be "detrimental to the interests" of the United States from entering the country.
