The junction between Yirmiyahu and Shamgar streets in Jerusalem has been blocked by protesters, demonstrating against the government's decision to impose closures on their neighborhoods.
In recent days, there have been multiple allegations, including from government ministers, that the government has acted in a discriminatory manner in imposing lockdowns on haredi areas with high rates of virus transmission whereas other, secular, neighborhoods with similarly high rates have not been similarly targeted.
