In a discussion today in the Immigration and Absorption Committee, MK Tehila Friedman said that new immigrants should aided as much as possible in the removal of bureaucratic barriers.
"The data is amazing. 2.5 times more people in the United States seek to immigrate and are detained because of new bureaucratic barriers. The Corona is not going anywhere right now, and we have a tremendous opportunity for an important wave of aliyah. We must prepare and allow for aliyah during this period, as well, with minimum bureaucracy and maximum empathy."
