According to a report by journalist Yossi Yehoshua, General (res.) Ronny Numa has informed the Director-General of the Health Ministry, Professor Hezi Levy, that he intends to leave his position as supervisor of coronavirus-related affairs.
Numa's decision follows the refusal of Health Minister Yuli Edelstein and Director-General Levy to grant him the full authority to manage the crisis as he saw fit.
