Police have arrested a 37-year-old Palestinian Arab man on suspicion of carrying out an attack against a 70-year-old Beit Shemesh woman.
According to reports, the man arrived at an apartment home owned by the woman to pick up personal belongings after vacating the apartment some time ago.
The man is said to have started threatening the woman with a knife and attempted to carry out a sexual assault, fleeing the scene when one of the neighbors arrived having heard screams from the apartment.
