Former Fox news anchor Shepard Smith, who recently resigned from the conservative TV station, reportedly over tensions with talk show hosts Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity, will host a one-hour show on CNBC.
CNBC's chairman said the network had signed Smith to counter Fox's right-wing reporting and MSNBC leftist viewpoints.
