Attorneys Yehuda Fried and Tal Gabay, who represent Malka Leifer accused of pedophilia in Australia, filed an appeal this morning in the Supreme Court to the Jerusalem District Court's decision stating that Leifer "is faking regarding her ability to function and she is eligible to stand trial."
At the same time, Leifer's attorneys filed a motion to delay the court decision to resume extradition proceedings pending the decision on the appeal filed regarding Leifer's mental competency.
