Cave art of mysterious culture first discovered in Golan and Galilee

The millions of hikers who have visited the Yehudiya Nature Reserve to this day probably didn't imagine that just below their noses, at the heart of the trail, is a key to understanding the world of ancient mysterious masonry culture.

A new study by researchers from the Israel Antiquities Authority and Tel Hai Academic College reveals four dolmens - huge burial structures in the Galilee and the Golan - where the builders left artistic motifs on the walls.

The cave art now unveiled for the first time sheds light on the worlds of those who founded the ancient civilizations.
