Hong Kong: We will quickly apply law approved by China

Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam said she would quickly implement China's national security law approved by China in the city, whereby those convicted of secession and sedition could face a life sentence.

Lam added that interference by the authorities in China with her city would be rare.
