The World Health Organization has reported the highest daily increase to date for new confirmed coronavirus cases.
212,326 cases were reported in the last day; the previous "record" was 189,000, last Tuesday.
Over half of the new cases (around 130,000) are in the Americas, with India seeing a surge in cases too.
