Speaking at the special Coronavirus Committee, Deputy Health Minister Yoav Kish said: "We're in a second wave that's more difficult and dangerous than the first wave. We're in a war of attrition."
He noted that "the percentage of confirmed patients from all tests showed a sharp increase. From half a percent in mid-May to five percent today."
He said "mass events must be stopped, more radical steps than we thought must be taken."
