It was reported today that three players on Israeli Premier Soccer League champion Maccabi Tel Aviv tested positive for CV-19 after the national virus-prevention app failed to recognize a carrier in the hotel they were staying in on June 27.
The team contacted the Health Ministry in an attempt to get answers to the apparent misfunction and were told the app had stopped working and there was no one to continue managing it.
The Health Ministry is currently in the process of attempting to decide what steps can be taken in order to correct the mistake.
