Spain: 210,000 under lockdown following spike in coronavirus cases

The government of Catalonia, Spain, imposed a lockdown on the region's Segrià area, following a surge in coronavirus infections, BBC reported.

Segrià has 210,000 residents.

Non-residents will be allowed to leave the area.
