From eight o'clock this morning, the new restrictions decided upon by the government come into force.
A maximum of 50 people are permitted to congregate for festive events (weddings, brit milah etc.), in bars, and synagogues.
In all other enclosed public spaces, no more than 20 people are permitted to gather.
Police will be stepping up their enforcement of the regulations, and will be handing out fines to those found not wearing face masks.
