The New York Daily News reported that an 8-foot post at a courthouse in Georgetown, Delaware, where blacks were once whipped for engaging in criminal activity, was removed yesterday (Tuesday).
The report stated that prior to the monument's removal, activists gathered at the scene to sing songs associated with the civil rights movement in the US.
