In Iran, a death sentence was given to a journalist who disseminated information on protests against the regime.
Ruhollah Zam ran the "AmadNews" website which published embarrassing videos on Iranian officials, and later encouraged the economic demonstrations in 2017. He was persuaded to return to Iran from France, arrested and "confessed" to his actions.
