The Knesset's legislative committee has concluded its discussion on new regulations designed to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
The meeting was chaired by MK Yaakov Asher (UTJ), and primarily focused on citizens returning from abroad and their obligation to quarantine, as well as the obligation to self-isolate of those who have come into contact with confirmed virus carriers. As things currently stand, the regulations expire on July 3rd, and the government wishes to extend them by another 45 days.
The committee will continue its discussions on Tuesday.
