The Greek tourism ministry has announced that the Greek island of Kos is offering free holidays to doctors from Germany, The Telegraph reports.
170 visiting doctors are to be welcomed to Kos "in recognition and gratitude for their contribution in combating the coronavirus in Germany," the ministry stated.
A flight carrying the doctors from Germany will land two days before Greece is officially scheduled to open its regional airports to passenger traffic, on July 1.
