Education Minister Yoav Galant has thanked the Ministry's Director-General, Shmuel Abuhav, for his years of service, following his decision to resign.
"Shmuel Abuhav told me today that he wishes to conclude his service in the Education Ministry after many years in his position, years of devoted service to the education system and the children of Israel," he said. "I have accepted his decision, and thank him for his help in my transitioning into my post as Minister. With little time left until the beginning of the new academic year, I will do my best to submit my selection of a replacement before the Knesset as soon as possible."
