The ministerial committee for legislation has given its approval to a draft law submitted by MK Shlomo Karhi (Likud) along with other Knesset members, which will extend the periods of exemption from appreciation tax and purchase tax by a half year.
These amendments will be added in as clauses to a bundle of regulations already being considered in committee in advance of being presented to the Knesset plenum for voting.
