Justice Minister Avi Nissenkorn referred to the detention of protesters in front of the Prime Minister's residence in Jerusalem, including Brigadier General Amir Haskel.

"Freedom of expression and the right to demonstrate are cornerstones of democracy and shouldn't be limited except in extreme cases. I applaud the court's decision to release the protesters without restrictive conditions. The decision is what was needed and the police will have to learn lessons about any future demonstrations," Nissenkorn said.
