Intelligence Minister Eli Cohen has responded to the Knesset's rejection of a law that would have accorded unemployment benefits to the self-employed.
"I did not vote against this law," Cohen told Kan Bet. "The coronavirus epidemic has proved how important it is to deal with the rights of the self-employed. At this point, the State has already payed out 30 billion shekels. I believe that the government will present this law for consideration again."
