Dina Zilber, the deputy Attorney-General, has defended the judiciary against allegations that it frequently oversteps its boundaries.
Speaking to Kan Bet, Zilber said, "When society is so divided, the law is what keeps things from fragmenting entirely - without it, we would descend into anarchy."
