The Elad municipality is to submit an appeal today to the Supreme Court, protesting the government's decision to impose a lockdown on the entire city, Kan News reports.
In a letter sent yesterday by Elad's mayor to the Prime Minister and the Alternate Prime Minister, the case was made that the damage caused by a lockdown would outweigh any potential benefit to be gained from it.
