According to official coronavirus data, as of the time of this publication approximately 8.99 million individuals worldwide have been infected with the coronavirus with 4.46 million recoveries and some-469,000 virus-related deaths recorded.
The US has the highest number of cases with 2.32 million and 122,000 deaths. Brazil is second with approximately 1.09 million confirmed infections.
