NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio offered his support for a request by the city's Museum of Natural History to remove a statue of America's 26th president Theodore Roosevelt.
The mayor said he was in favor of having the historic statue taken down because of its depiction of "black and indigenous people as subjugated and racially inferior."
