45% unemployment rate in Beitar due to coronavirus fallout

New data shows that the haredi city of Beitar Illit, home to almost 57,000 people, has paid an exceptionally high price for the coronavirus lockdown.

More than 45% of the city's residents are now registered unemployed and seeking work.
