IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi has stated that Iran has become the most dangerous country in the Middle East. It has made significant progress toward becoming a nuclear power, but its nuclear threat is not the only one it holds in its hands - its conventional weapons also pose a significant danger to its neighbors both near and far.
In addition, Kochavi stated, Iran is financing and supporting Hezbollah, Hamas, and Islamic Jihad, and is behind many recent terror attempts.
