State Comptroller Matanyahu Engelman has announced that he will not be opening an investigation into the case of Attorney General Dr. Avichai Mandelblit.
In a letter sent by the head auditor, attorney Eden Bizman, to MK Shlomo Karhi, Bizman detailed the reasons for the Comptroller's decision, including the fact that the issue of Dr. Mandelblit's appointment was discussed in depth in a petition filed in the Supreme Court in 2016 and was already ruled on at the time.
