Director-General of the Health Ministry, Professor Hezi Levy, has sent a letter to the deputy Director-General, Professor Itamar Grotto, with his comments on the now-notorious exemption from quarantine Grotto gave to billionaire businessman Teddy Sagi.
"I think it is only appropriate that I comment on the way in which you handled this case," Levy wrote. "Your conduct was mistaken; an unusual request of this nature should have been examined in detail [before reaching a decision]. After investigating the case, I have decided to accept your apology and not to take any further steps," he concluded.
