On Friday evening, multiple news sources reported that rioters in Washington D.C. pulled down a statue of Confederate war hero, Brigadier General Albert Pike.
Other statues to have been toppled during the ongoing protests include: the St. Junipero Serra, a statue of President Ulysses S. Grant and one depicting Francis Scott Key, author of the Star-Spangled Banner, along with a statue of Christopher Columbus in San Francisco.
