Negotiations between the teachers' union and the Ministry of Education are ongoing on Thursday night, and a hearing is being held on a petition by the state to require teachers to work nine additional days after the end of the school year.
So far the parties have not reached an agreement, and the teachers' union has asked for mediation led by Judge Nili Aaron.
