The Haifa Magistrate's Court held a hearing to extend the remand of a 21-year-old city resident suspected of raping an 11-year-old girl.
The suspect's parents came to the hearing and said: "From the depths of our hearts we share in the pain of the victim and her family. We are shocked by the suspicion attributed to our son and convinced that he was unaware of his actions."
