The Knesset on Monday night approved the second and third readings of a bill that would provide a financial incentive for employers to bring back workers who were sent on unpaid leave because of the coronavirus.
Businesses will receive up to 7,500 shekels for each employee who returned to work as of June 1, and 3,500 for each employee who returned during May.
