Head of the Knesset's Finance committee, MK Moshe Gafni (UTJ), has met with representatives of hospital administrations from all parts of the country.
Hospital administrators presented the difficulties they are contending with, due to irregularities in budgeting due to the financial crisis in the wake of the coronavirus epidemic, and the epidemic itself. They requested the intervention of the Finance committee in obtaining increased budgetary funds in order to forestall the collapse of the hospital system.
Gafni responded that he would do what he could for the benefit of hospitals, especially in light of fears that the country may soon be experiencing a second wave of the pandemic.
