Internal Security Minister Michael Biton responded in an interview on Reshet Bet to the incident in which an IDF soldier defended a Palestinian who was attacked in Hebron, saying: "The details are still under review, but we won't allow lawlessness in Hebron and we will maintain a state of calm as it is today. These are not good pictures. Aspire to the soldier's moral behavior."
On the sovereignty issue, Biton said: "Judea and Samaria is a security-sensitive place all year long. Security forces work every night to prevent incidents. You have to learn from the past and not make one-sided moves. There may be a majority of voters in the Knesset, but we'll make sure the matter is discussed in depth."
