Dozens of leading lawyers from Israel and around the world have signed a letter that was sent to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Benny Gantz urging them not to go through with the sovereignty move, Kan 11 News reported.
The lawyers claim that sovereignty would be contradictory to international law, and could have serious consequences.
