The "Choose Life" foundation representing bereaved families and victims of violence, together with "Im Tirtzu" has issued its response to the news that the murderer of Ori Ansbacher has been found guilty.
"The government of Israel should issue a harsh response to shocking and terrible crimes such as these," their statement reads. "This murderous terrorist committed his crimes in full knowledge of the fact that his 'punishment' would be to sit in an Israeli prison and enjoy five-star hotel conditions, as well as leave his family financially taken care of.
"A terrorist who commits such heinous crimes should be sentenced to nothing less than death. Every potential terrorist should know that if he commits such crimes, his family will be evicted from its home, any 'terrorist' wages will be frozen, and his home will be demolished. The time has come for the government of Israel to take real steps to deter terrorism, and the sooner the better."
