Communications Minister Yoaz Hendel (Derekh Eretz) commented on last night's demonstrations in Tel Aviv, posting on Twitter that, "Journalists and photographers were doing their jobs as they should in a democracy, covering the demonstrations ... I trust that the police will learn the right lessons from yesterday's events.

"All the same, I have a disagreement with those on the left about risk management and the future of Judea and Samaria. This is an argument that should be held between Israelis who love the State. When PLO flags are flown and the demand to 'return to the 1948 borders' is heard, this premise is damaged. Everyone who goes out to protest in Rabin Square should ask himself whose benefit he is seeking," Hendel wrote.
