MK Moshe Arbel (Shas) has appealed to Defense Minister Benny Gantz, asking him to reconsider his decision to suspend the order preventing transfer of funds to Palestinian security prisoners and the families of terrorists ("martyrs") by Palestinian banks.
In his letter, Arbel wrote: "There is a common consensus that one of the most effective methods of battling terror is to limit the benefits accruing to those who engage in it and their families ... At the beginning of May, we were already informed that the order [preventing transfer of funds] was bearing fruit ... I ask you to please do whatever you can to restore the order as soon as possible."
