Social network giants Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and others joined the wave of protests in the US following the wrongful death of an African American man by a Minneapolis police officer.

A number of social networks even changed their logos to include the hashtag "BlackLivesMatter" previously used by militant anti-government groups in the country.

While news reports have stated that some Facebook employees are unhappy with CEO Mark Zuckerberg for not taking the fight against President Trump far enough, Facebook and other networks have been accused of Trump of discriminating against conservative pundits.
